Wow, 2 sets of car/house keys huh?! And 4 large hair brushes! I can't even comment on the Spiderman's leg! I'm so glad I was the one to inspire you to clean out your purse! We all have to do it from time to time anyway, don't we? Have fun!

Has anyone ever noticed that petite women carry very large purses and obese women carry very small purses? I wonder why this is.
I fall into the petite category and I am no exception to the large purse idea. My purse is fairly big and although it seems like I have everything I need in it, there's so many times that the one thing I or someone else needs, that's the one thing I don't have in my purse. I don't like the feeling of not being able to help someone in need of a band-aid or a piece of candy or a crayon for an upset child. Being a mother of four, you'd think I'd be more organized, but I'm not. My purse weighs a ton and half of the stuff in it, I've never used, but you never know....here's a few of the items in my purse:

1.Bills, bank statements for the month, atm receipts
2.Kleenex, one paper towel, band-aids(3),3 lighters, one of Spidermans' legs(from an action figure), a yellow lego, 2 sets of car/house keys, cell phone, 2 packs of gum, tons of change
3.Picture Book, wallet, Half eaten roll of Lifesavers, paper clip, safety pin, tube of Ambesol
4.Large hair brush, tons of makeup, two small flashlights

This just cracks me up. I think it's strange that I do not have an ink pen or any form of writing tool. I also have no address book and not one single dollar bill or any other $bill, only change. I think I'll take the time today to clean my luggage-purse out. Thanks for the insight.

I love this video and the advise Cynthia provides. Keeping stuff that doesn't make us feel good is a physical as well as mental space.

Come to think of it we always look for stuffs in the closet every day, before we go to work and before we go to bed and many times in between. It would really be a relief to know that all items in the closet have their corresponding containers and they might as well be labeled. Thanks for this post.

I forgot to ask in my post for you to leave a comment about how you organize your day, and you don't have to be famous either! Just interesting (and we're all interesting, aren't we?). So, take the challenge and share your routine!
